Happy, happy Monday! It’s pretty festive around here today since it’s party day!!
Note: If you have any areas of your home you’re looking to hide you need to check out our giveaway going on right now here! This giveaway is now closed.
Hopefully you’re here to link up your favorite Christmas craft projects from this year. Which means, if you’re here looking for some crafty Christmas inspiration you’re in the right place, too!!
If you saw our Christmas mantel … you may have noticed this cute little guy.

Late one night, while getting caught up on a few episodes of Revenge …
’cause nothing screams holiday spirit quite like a little revenge … or something like that. ;)
… I decided I wanted to make a reindeer.
I had an empty frame lying around, I had already discovered my love for metallic this year, and I knew I was looking to go red and gold on the mantel.
A cute little reindeer seemed like the perfect addition to the arrangement.
I just painted the backer board for the frame with the same gold metallic paint I used on the base for our advent tree, and used the exact same technique to make this silhouette as I did to make the canvas silhouettes of the girls.
An easy and FREE little addition to our Christmas decor … and I can just cover the backer board with craft paper or a picture to show through the rest of the year. And when next Christmas comes around she’ll be ready and waiting behind the scenes for another appearance.
Unless, of course, I decide to go green and silver next year, which is entirely possible. :)
And, just because it’s a crafty Christmas day around here today, check out this fun mounted AND glittered reindeer head by Cassie from Primitive and Proper.
Cassie is also one of our party co-hosts, along with Lisa from Before Meets After and Ashley from Cherished Bliss.
So when you link up here, your project will automatically be linked up to all FOUR blogs … but hopefully that doesn’t stop you from stopping over and showing the hosts some party love!
Now, let’s get to it. Link up, mingle a little and even help keep the party rockin’ by sporting some fancy party bling. And please, crafty Christmas tutorials only. All four party hosts will be sharing party highlights next week.
