Are you hearing the theme music now?
Remember the fab gals I co-hosted the Imagine the Impossibilities extravaganza with?
Well, we’re at it again! We’ve been chatting. Really, we had a conference call. How fun to put a voice with a blog…not exactly the same as a face with a name…but one step closer. 🙂
And today we are collectively launching … drum roll please …
The MISSION: POSSIBLE series.
That’s right…a whole series of parties!
Every party has a theme …
… and every theme will have it’s very own button.
Starting with It’s a Cinch. We thought the perfect way to follow up your most daunting task would be with those easy peasy, get ‘er done, just make it happen kind of projects and tips.
And yes, I know, the theme music is for the movie Mission Impossible…but we like the positive spin. The whole premise that anything really is possible. We can do it, we can make it happen, it is a possible mission.
MISSION: POSSIBLE
Here’s the plan:
- A link party on the Last Tuesday of every other month.
- A different theme for every party…that hopefully coincides with what you’re working on during each season.
- Features! We’re looking to show off all of your inspirational projects, tutes and tips…as often as possible…in places like this and this and this.
And our first party is this month!
Yes, yes…we know we’re more than a week into the month…but It’s a Cinch. Literally, that’s the theme for this month so we’re hoping to hear about your easiest little ideas on Tuesday, March 27th at 6am central time!
In the spirit of the theme I recently made a couple of easy peasy signs using these great little stencils.
It’s a Cinch :). Find a piece of wood, pick your wording, find your stencils, stencil, sand (if you like) and hang.
I personally found picking my wording the hardest step.
Thank goodness for words I like. These words specifically came from an Etsy Shop.
So, I encourage you to get your It’s a Cinch project on and be ready to link up on the Last Tuesday of this month, March 27th!
And have you seen this It’s a Cinch picture hanging tip?
I first saw it at Trade School…where Lolly Jane shared this “it’s so easy, I can’t believe I never thought of that” idea.
And grab our button … and pin it … and facebook it … I mean, if you want to. 🙂
Update: More It’s a Cinch project ideas here and here.
Because I’m a sucker for a good challenge, I’m going to link my It’s a Cinch sign up to the Pinterest Challenge – Winter Edition at Bower Power, Young House Love, Hi Sugarplum and The Great Outdoors on Wednesday.

Such a great project … now if I could only find some amazing drift wood here in Chicago! I don’t think I want to put anything that drifts up on the shores of Lake Michigan in my home …
🙂

Karah,
I know we are cinching it and all…..but that project could hold it’s own against any other sign I have seen in blogland. The texture is so pretty! There is nothing like driftwood to make it more meaningful, too!

Love this! I can’t wait to see what you do! And I was just thinking how I needed to do more than one project for the Pinterest challenge! So this will definitely keep me motivated!
RHome410 @ Friday is Pizza, Monday is Soup says
Looking forward to seeing all the great project ideas… I need them! Have to time my one idea that I think might fit the bill. I’ve added the buttons to my blog.
Lisa @ A Room with A View says
Looks like this could be fun!
Kelly @ View Along the Way says
I love this idea and I’m so excited about it!! 🙂 I need to see if there’s something I can come up with to participate. (Wait – scratch that. I need to see which of my HUNDREDS of to-dos I can get done by then.) 🙂

Lovely! You can never go wrong with driftwood, in my opinion love the texture, and perfect for a beach sign!

Love it………….and love how you hung it (wink wink!) I’ll be featuring you and Bliss and my star students tomorrow 🙂
Kelly @ DTTDidc says
Is the hanger is a tab from a soft drink can? What a great idea!
I love your signs, especially the “BEACH” one. It’s nice to do an easy-peasy project now and then – something you can get done in an afternoon instead of a week (or month or year or multiple years!)
I’ve got a project in mind for the “It’s a Cinch” party. Looking forward to participating 🙂
Emily Morgenstern says
I love how this turned out!! And, I love projects that are a cinch! 🙂
I’m adding your button! Looking forward to the party!
Cindy says
I will do my best to join you, I always have something on the go and most of my projects are a “cinch” or else I wouldn’t be doing them!
Have a great day, Cindy
