Happy Friday, y’all! Being away for 4 days last week and coming home to workers painting the exterior of our house this week … and trying to snuggle as often as possible with a sick 10-year-old puppy …  … oh, and trying to tackle some of the items on my 67 item long to-do list, has made for me not getting out of the house much this week.

Well, well, well.  How have you all been? I can not even begin to express how wonderful my experience at Haven was.  And, I’ve mentioned this to a few of you already, but I am not really your squealing, easily excitable type of girl.  I’m much more the roll-my-eyes-at-all-you-squealing-fools type. So, I really had no idea what to expect from a blog conference, but believe you me, like my buddy Kelly, I am now totally going to become a Superblogger.  ;) But, I’ve never really wanted this blog to be about blogging so I put together a little round-up of my overall experience that I hope will be fun for all.  I present to you: The Haven Lists of 3. 3 Most Relatable Speakers

Today it’s Friday, and I’m at Haven.  Having what I’m sure is a fantastically good time meeting fellow bloggers and talking about our blogs and learning all kinds of inspiring things.  And I’m hopefully not saying too many stupid things or making embarrassing hand gestures while talking too loudly or laughing at inappropriate times.  But I probably am.  Sigh. But, I know for sure I am missing this gal. And this view, er, girl. And seeing these characters do this every night. And this cracked me up so I had to take a picture of it.  Right before I left for this little trip I did some grocery shopping to stock Joel up on some necessities (read: ice cream, supplies for homemade garlic cheesy bread and frozen chicken pot pies) in my absence.  And when I came out of the store the guy beside me had done quite a parking job.  hahaha   Now that I look at the pics I did a mighty fine job myself.  Clearly the parking space lines and asphalt are mere suggestions. Hope you’ve had an awesome week.  I’m stoked to get home and make this blog better than ever … or at least continue on the course.  :)  I do thank you all for sharing in the fun … I would have no need to be at a blogging conference right now if it wasn’t for my desire to create a blog that keeps you wanting to come back for more.  So, Thank you!  Now go enjoy the weekend.  :)

Well, as you know, I am on my way to Haven right. this. second.  Enter nervous jitters here. This gal on an airplane sure is hoping she’s not the odd man out in a room full of people everyone promises is welcoming and inclusive.  Fingers and toes and strands of hair and anything else crossable crossed.

If you are a fan of our Facebook page you saw my confession last week. That’s right kids … I’m back from vacation for like a minute and I need to lickity split turn around and get ready for Haven. Holla! For, my fabulous non-blogger readers, Haven is a blog conference this week.  That’s right.  It’s a conference … and it’s about blogging.  AND I LEAVE TOMORROW! Can we just take a minute here?  And reflect that a year ago I hardly even knew of blogs.  Had no idea there was such a thing as a conference for bloggers, about blogging.  And that I will be attending one tomorrow is pretty crazytown! So, I had a brief moment of angst when I was making the Facebook confession, but it pretty much served as a ‘the truth will set you free’ sort of a statement.

I don’t know about you, but I think one of the worst feelings in the entire world is to feel left out.  Whether it’s intentional, accidental, preventable, whatever.  It always just sucks to not be included and know about it. No? And you know what one thing I have felt completely left out of since joining blogland?
