when I’m five

Hey there!  Happy Monday.  Hopefully you had a fab weekend.  I have to admit we’re stoked in this house about the start of the NASCAR season…rain delays and all.
Don’t try to tell me you don’t collect scrap metal, get it autographed by the car owner and get all giddy, happy to have your picture taken with the military men who flew the pre-race fly by.  I won’t believe it.  ;)

But, before we settled in for the big race weekend I got a little lost in blog world last week. In a good way.

It kind of started when a blog was lost. (But later recovered, Phew!)

Then I came across a Build Your Blog series Kelly put together at Live Laugh Rowe.

Throughout the week I randomly caught myself thinking a lot about what Amanda had to say.

Then, I got totally enthralled with Beckie’s Blog Story…which is over a year old, but new to me.
Beckie is on the right in the above pic…she’s with another superstar, Laurie from Tip Junkie.  You might have noticed Laurie’s blog was one of my top 3 referrers in 2011…that reminds me I should get that list updated to reflect the first 2 months of this year.  Add it to the to do list.  :)

Anyway, Beckie had said she was going to end her multi post series with a “Where will I be in 5 years” post and … SPOILER ALERT … she did, kind of.  :)

And it all got me thinking.  What does my blog want to be when it grows up?

Then, because we are attached at the blog brain, a couple of my blog “tribe” gals had the idea to have a little, impromptu link party.

Eclectically Vintage it all started with paint Thistlewood Farm

A “What does your blog want to be when it grows up?” party.  Fun, right!?!?

And just look at this adorable button Linda created…I’m in love with it.

the space between

Hopefully you’ll grab one and get to thinkin’ because, not only are we posting about what we hope for our blogs, but we want to hear about what you hope for yours!

So mark your calendar for this Friday, March 2nd!  The “What does YOUR BLOG want to be when it GROWS UP?” party will go live.

And…did you see that there’s going to be another new party on the block?  The Rooster and the Hen will be hosting their very first link party on March 2nd, too!  What a fun way to start the weekend with a couple new parties…and some fun blog bling.  Click here to get all the deets.
