giveaway winner and impossible features

And the winner of the $50 Lowe’s gift card is…drum roll please…

Email me Michelle and I’ll get you all hooked up!

And an especially big Thank You! to One Project Closer for sponsoring the giveaway!  You guys are awesome!!

And now, my Imagine the Impossibilities Link Party Features!

To say that we were overjoyed at all of the awesome link ups we had (361 to be exact) would be an understatement.  I really can’t thank everyone who participated enough! This little impossible challenge has turned into such a wonderful adventure.  :)

And, because there was so much awesomeness, my co-hosts and I couldn’t only feature 5 projects a piece, which was our original plan.  I will not only feature 10 great link ups here, but I will be facebooking about others and pinning some beautiful pictures throughout the week.  Hopefully we’re connected on Facebook and Pinterest so you don’t miss a thing.  :)

And (Who says you can’t start a sentence with the word and?), don’t forget to check out who my co-hosts are featuring today!

And (Clearly, I don’t say that.), if you’ve been featured, be sure to grab a button below and brag about it.  You’ve earned it!!

Now, all I can say is, you HAVE to visit these 10 great posts.  Some are crafty, some are serious DIY, some are seemingly impossible life lessons.  And they are ALL worth a look.

I have so much I can say about why I love these posts, but you really just need to click over to check them out for yourselves.  And be sure to let them know that you saw their feature here!!

Now, let’s get to it…

Who wouldn’t want to own their house free and clear before they turn 30?  See how Abbie from 5 Days 5 Ways did it.  You’re an true inspiration Abbie!
Who doesn’t need a little group therapy when undertaking some serious DIY projects? Check out the 12 step process of This {Sorta} Old Life.
I can literally feel the love coming from this project Sarah from Adventures of Our Fami-Ly made for her nephew…makes me wish I had thought to make one for mine.
Speaking of love, who doesn’t want some secrets to long lasting love?  See how Lori from Always Learning is keeping her 31 year marriage going strong.
I seriously need to learn how to make string art, like NOW, like Zoe, the very Creative in Chicago, did.
If you’ve seen the ugliness fabulousness that is our couch set (click here or here or here if you really want another look) then you know I need to do something.  Tisha at The Delectable Home actually made a slipcover for her sectional.  Very impressive Tisha!
Want the look of a tile floor without the cost?  See how Angie from Postcards from the Ridge did it.  Have you gotten your massage yet Angie?
How about a DIY mural?  Whitney painstakingly painted an intricate peacock over at The Rooster and the Hen as part of their bathroom remodel.
Now, you can find me heading over to hang with Debbie from Refresh Restyle in her newly upgraded dock space.
And then I’m going to do some laundry get crafty with Rita at Harbour Breeze in her awesome new basement space.

Technically, that is my 10 allotted features…but I had to give a shout out to Kelly at Corner of Main…she painted the piping on her sofa (in addition to making those beautiful new pillows) and it seriously looks awesome!  I wonder what a little paint would do to the red and gold madness I currently have???

I hope you enjoy all of the projects as much as I do.

Those who’ve been featured, please don’t forget to grab a button, you’ve all inspired me greatly!

Now, let’s all visit my co-hosts to see what awesomeness they’ve featured!  Karianne at Thistlewood Farm, Linda at It All Started with Paint, Kelly at Eclectically Vintage, Andrea at The Cottage Market and Stacey at A Sort of Fairytale.

And, are we all connected on the new Linky Follower tool yet?

For an idea of where I currently do my laundry…
That would be right between our little scrap wood pile and our stove gas bottles.  The cover is to prevent sun damage (trust me, it happens) and the slanted board along the top is for rain run off.  And the weeds all around are because my husband I have gotten lazy with yard work lately.  Down right luxurious I say.  ;)

Anyone else do laundry outside?

Thank you, thank you, thank you for featuring my floor. I’m amazed at all the awesome projects that people completed for this party. I don’t know how you narrowed it down to just 10! My only question…when’s the next one (LOL)? I need a little push to get some outside projects finished. Just kidding. I know this was a lot of work for you ladies and I really appreciate it. Thanks again.
    Angie

What a great surprise to wake up to! Thanks so much for the feature, but more importantly all the support that came from you, your co-hosts and the amazing visitors from this party. Such a fun concept, we loved it!

  11. Hi, Karah, It’s me again. I tried to e-mail you, but your e-mail address is a “no-reply”. ( I know there is a simple way to change that setting, but I’m not sure how right now…) Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your encouraging words about switching over to WordPress. Right now I’m a bit overwhelmed. Your words were given at just the right time! Thanks.

  12. Great pics of course! Girl, I guess the one downside of living on your fabulous Caribbean Island is doing your laundry outside. Bright side – since you only wear bikinis, I bet it takes you a long time to accumulate a full load of laundry!
    Kelly

  13. Great features … and your laundry seriously scares me!

  14. fantastic picks…i can’t get over the string art!! so fun doing the challenge with you :)

  15. Gwen says:

Hi Karah! I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your comments on my blog! For some reason, you are a no-reply-comment@blogger and I can’t reply to you via email…Thanks for your encouraging comments!

OK, I came to see the washing machine…. you don’t have a turkey carcass on the front porch do you? But that is a mighty fine pallet I spy.
